COMPANY PROFILE
Monarch Insurance Company Inc. (MICI) is a 50
year old Philippine SEC registered and Insurance Commission licenced
non-life Insurance company. Its current shareholders are a combination
of Asian investors (Filipino majority) including Bharat Investments
which is headquartered in Singapore. All of the shareholders have
long standing backgrounds in insurance. Their vision is to create
a strong market oriented company writing a multi-line insurance portfolio.
The company is presently capitalized at PhP 136 Million.
Monarch has embarked on a broad based development of
its business with an enhanced bouquet of services and an expanded
product portfolio. Its focus is to develop a broader customer base
and to have a stronger engagement with its existing customer base.
Bharath is the investment arm of the Shriram
Group and Ceylinco (Ceylon Insurance Co Inc) of Sri Lanka.
